Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Emergency Medicine specialist to join our team as a Clinical Fellow with a special interest in one of the following areas: education and simulation, research and quality improvement.

Main Duties
  • Consolidate Paediatric Emergency Medicine competencies and pursue an area of interest.
  • Develop and complete projects with expertise and ground support of the research and quality improvement teams.

The post holder will be allocated 60% of their working time to clinical duties in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and 40% to develop an area of special interest.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ST4+ candidate to further develop their skills and experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC at time of interview and hold a current licence to practise.
  • APLS provider or equivalent.
  • MRCEM or MRCPCH or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
