Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a permanent night shift basis. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of our busy plant by undertaking a range of engineering activities resulting in maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attending to breakdowns and performing planned and reactive maintenance
  • Contributing to continuous site and process improvements
  • Implementing and undertaking personal projects to ensure efficient and reliable equipment
  • Documenting all undertaken works on the CMMS system
  • Ensuring all standards of work are undertaken in line with the company's engineering procedures, Quality System, and Health & Safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Electrical or multi-skilled with an electrical bias
  • Comfortable leading from the front with a positive attitude
  • At least five years' engineering experience within a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • HNC as a minimum or relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in engineering or equivalent
