Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Special Education Support

Job Summary:
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex care needs, and other learning difficulties? We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special school in London.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 support to students with ASD, care needs, and other complex learning difficulties
• Assist with personalised learning plans to ensure students' individual needs are met
• Support students with their personal care and daily routines, ensuring dignity and safety at all times
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress

About the Role:
This is a long-term opportunity to work with a dedicated special school in London. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students engage with their learning in a safe, nurturing environment while promoting their emotional and physical well-being. Requirements:
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with ASD and complex care needs
• Previous experience in a 1:1 support role
• Patience, empathy, and a caring approach to working with children who have complex needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and parents
• A proactive and flexible attitude to support students' varied needs
