Job Overview: We are seeking experienced and skilled individuals to join our team as Bar Staff at The Burnside Hotel. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers in a vibrant and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks to our customers.
  2. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  3. Bar Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available.
  5. Food Safety and Alcohol Guidelines: Adhere to all food safety regulations and alcohol serving guidelines at all times.
  6. Cash Transactions: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  1. Previous Experience: Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred, but not essential.
  2. Math Skills: Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions is a must.
  3. Strong Hospitality Skills: Strong hospitality skills with a customer-focused approach are essential.
  4. Time Management: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively is crucial.
  5. Bartending Techniques: Familiarity with bartending techniques is a plus, but not essential.
  6. Team Player: Must be a helpful team player willing to assist in various tasks.
