Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Auditor / Trainer to join our team in the South East Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance, mentoring, and training to regionally based field staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site training and assessment of field staff, as well as supervision and mentoring of trainees and existing staff.
  • Collate and provide feedback on staff performance to the Training and Development Manager and regional management.
  • Escalate substandard performance and personnel failing to meet expected progress to regional management.
  • Ensure that company operating procedures, standards, and expectations are communicated effectively through training and personal behavior.
  • Assist the Quality Manager with quality control activities, such as equipment calibrations and maintenance, provision and collation of QC schemes, and investigations related to non-conforming work and client complaints.
  • Manage the skills matrix for technical field staff operating from the regional office.
About You
  • P402, P403, P404 qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within the asbestos industry and previous experience working under a UKAS accredited management system.
  • Experience of providing supervision/mentoring of field staff.
  • Knowledge of EEL technical procedures related to area of expertise.
  • Understanding of quality processes and auditing techniques.
  • Awareness of current issues and developments in the asbestos industry.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
