Job Description

Job Title: Regional Auditor / Trainer

Location: South East Region

Salary: £42K

Hours: Full time 42.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Environmental Essentials is a well-established asbestos company with 3 offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for delivering a first-class, quality-focused service to a number of high-profile clients.

We are looking for an Asbestos Auditor / Trainer to join the team, representing our company based in the South East Region. The purpose of the role is to provide guidance, mentoring, and training of regionally based field staff placed under their supervision.

The successful candidate will ensure that the company maintains continual compliance in respect of field staff assessment and witness and quality assurance auditing at all times, and will ensure that all regional quality management system responsibilities are consistently and competently maintained.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the asbestos industry, and previous experience of working under a UKAS accredited management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake practical and theoretical on-site training and assessment of field staff as required
  • Supervise and mentor trainees/new technical staff, or existing staff competency assessments, witness auditing, and the necessary field-related QA activities

Requirements:

  • P402, P403, P404
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the asbestos industry, and previous experience of working under a UKAS accredited management system
  • Experience of providing supervision/mentoring of field staff
  • Knowledge of EEL technical procedures related to the area of expertise
  • Understanding of quality processes and auditing techniques
  • Awareness of current issues and developments in the asbestos industry
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
