Talent Specialist - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Eye, near Diss

Job Type: Part-time, 22.5 hours over 3 days

Salary: £30,000 pro-rata

C&K Meats, an award-winning British pork producer, is seeking a skilled Talent Specialist to join its HR Team. As a member of the resourcing team, you will work alongside managers to drive the company's operational direct recruitment model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attract local candidates and engage with them in a timely manner, from point of application to initial contact
  • Host open days and become the face of C&K Meats recruitment
  • Build relationships with local schools, attend breakfast clubs, careers events, and sell the benefits of working for C&K Meats
  • Keep up-to-date with legislation around recruitment and right to work checks
  • Conduct initial screening and interviewing of candidates
  • Proactively search for candidates via CV Library and other social media tools
  • Identify high-calibre candidates for both active and potential roles

Requirements:

  • Recruitment experience, preferably in operations/production/blue-collar roles
  • Creative approach and ability to work with local schools and authorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and be delivery-focused
  • Social media posting and engagement experience
  • Good understanding of the candidate market and blue-sky thinking
  • Motivation and drive
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • High organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness
  • Confident face-to-face and telephone manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Benefits:
