Job Title: Family Solicitor 3-5 years PQE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Solicitor to join our team at Number Fifteen Recruitment. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of privately funded work, providing advice to individuals and families on a range of family law matters, and working closely with our Director to achieve business targets.

About the Role:
  • Manage your own caseload of privately funded work, including complex and time-sensitive matters
  • Provide advice to individuals and families on family law matters, including private law children matters, divorce, financial settlements, separation, domestic violence, pre and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitee disputes
  • Deal with new instructions, legal research, advocacy, and assisting the Director on occasions
  • Network and engage in business development to bring in new work and grow the practice
About You:
  • Be a fully qualified senior solicitor with 3-5 years PQE, although other qualifications will also be considered
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be commercially astute and understand the importance of business targets and their impact on the practice
  • Have a good academic record and training with a leading national or regional firm is an advantage
  • Have strong IT skills and a firm and functional knowledge of family law
  • Have experience managing your own caseload of privately funded work and demonstrate initiative and drive to produce a high standard of service to our clients
