Job Title: Digital Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Test Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Digital Test Engineer, you will be responsible for validating the vehicle function, performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance of infotainment, display, and parking systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate vehicle function, performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance of infotainment, display, and parking systems.
  • Oversee test planning, including variance impact analysis and resource management.
  • Conduct concern investigation, perform root cause analysis, and recommend countermeasures to design, aftermarket, and manufacturing departments.
  • Support field investigations as required and assist suppliers.
  • Ensure the quality of electrical systems aligns with client standards.
  • Complete validation tasks within project milestones.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture and electrical theory.
  • Experience with software application in vehicle ECUs (flashing, coding/configuration, and calibration).
  • Ability to assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans.
  • Understanding of network communications and multiple bus systems, such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with CANalyzer and CANape software or similar tools and interpreting their results.
  • Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections.
  • Familiarity with digital oscilloscopes and basic electrical test equipment.
  • Relevant experience in automotive electrical/electronic system development, having completed at least two vehicle developments or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel abroad for short periods, sometimes at short notice.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and Project.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with flexibility.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
