About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes and ensure students remain on task, maintaining a productive learning environment.
  • Provide classroom management, ensuring behaviour is in line with school policies.
  • Offer guidance and support to students, ensuring their well-being and progress in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational support role.
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to maintain a calm and focused learning environment.
  • A confident communicator, able to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
