Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to join our team at GCS Associates. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and overseeing our largest branch for the region, ensuring performance is sustained at its current level and optimized for continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and oversee branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and develop staff capabilities, identifying and addressing underperformance.
  • Authorize and collate weekly and monthly payroll information.
  • Ensure stock takes are completed fully and investigate any material variances.
  • Maintain a high standard of tidiness and ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Work with local councils and other agencies to prevent prohibitions notices.
  • Report incidents involving plant or company vehicles and follow necessary procedures.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Branch Operations Manager with a strong background in the Builders' Merchant trade. You will have extensive experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing and developing teams. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
