About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Analyst to join our digital team at the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality information and digital solutions that support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced data interrogation skills to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Design and implement automated reporting solutions using the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack, SSRS, and PowerBI.
  • Collaborate with senior clinicians, operational colleagues, and support staff to understand business needs and provide actionable information solutions.
  • Build close working relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Significant work experience in Health Informatics, with a strong background in data analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and PowerBI or Qlik Sense.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
