Cover Supervisor | Secondary School in Barnet

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Barnet. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring continuity in covering lessons from KS3 to KS5, while Class Teachers are on PPA time or absent.

About the Role:
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate or experienced teacher to gain valuable experience as a Cover Supervisor, with the potential to progress to a Class Teacher role in the future.
  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, collaborating with Class Teachers and the SEND Team to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
  • The ideal candidate will have a degree from a UK University, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Experience working with SEND students and students with varying abilities is highly desirable.
  • You will be expected to teach and support across year groups, and be situated in a bustling area of Northwest London.
About You:
  • Applicants should have a strong passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • You will be a team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • You will be expected to be flexible and able to work across a range of subjects and year groups.
