We're seeking a highly skilled Corporate Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our Quality and Audit Risk team. This role will play a crucial part in providing expert information, advice, and guidance to the Firm on professional responsibility, risk, and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of the annual lawyer file audit programme, ensuring timely completion and high-quality written reports.
  • Monitor and complete corrective actions, working closely with fee earners, team leaders, and Partners throughout the business.
  • Contribute to existing and future internal audit processes, covering the UK and global offices.
  • Discuss internal audit requirements and findings with stakeholders, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Support the development of an effective audit process relevant to the ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation for all UK and overseas offices.
  • Participate in due diligence processes where required, focusing on internal or external audit activity.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in legal file management, preferably with supervisory, peer review, or file audit experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive attitude and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with excellent attention to detail.
