About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controls and Automation Project Specialist to join our team at Jaguar Land Rover. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems and standards for our manufacturing equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of control systems and standards
  • Lead a team of talented individuals to excel in their performance and achievements
  • Collaborate closely with other Manufacturing Engineering process teams, Manufacturing Operations, and IT Departments
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, project books, and specifications for all manufacturing systems
  • Develop and maintain interface specifications from shop floor PLCs/applications to manufacturing execution systems
Requirements
  • Expertise in the specification, delivery, installation, and launch of controls systems, preferably in an automotive or powertrain environment
  • Thorough understanding of machine electrical systems and designs in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of IT/OT networks and architectures
  • Rockwell PLC experience
