Job Description Summary

GE Aviation's Power Conversion business is a leading provider of electrification systems for high-performance applications. We work with major energy, maritime, and industrial organizations to enable energy efficiency and decarbonization.

Job Description

As a Field Service Electrical Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Installation and commissioning of drives and automation systems on industrial sites.
  2. Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance activities on customer sites.
  3. Reading and marking up equipment drawings and circuit diagrams.
  4. Supporting key service contract customers with remote support and on-site diagnosis and repair activities.
  5. Compiling risk assessments and method statements for customer site visits.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Power Electronics or equivalent.
  2. Engineering degree or recognized Engineering Apprenticeship with Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  3. Demonstrable understanding of electronic and electrical engineering drawings.
