Job Summary:

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regional Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help our residents get the most out of life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the delivery of care when on duty
  • Contribute to person-centred care planning for each resident
  • Record observations on temperature, blood pressure, and other important tasks

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a background in care, with a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is essential, with a view to completing an NVQ 3. You will also need a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry and GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
