Classroom Support Worker: Autism and Learning Difficulties

We are currently looking for a skilled Classroom Support Worker to join our team at an SEN school in East London. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with autism and learning difficulties, and be able to provide individualized support to help students reach their full potential.
As a Classroom Support Worker, you will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students to develop essential life skills and promoting independence.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, with a minimum of £29,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, you will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and contribute to creating a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with autism and learning difficulties
- Assist students with their daily needs, including personal care and mobility
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student independence
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with autism and learning difficulties
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations
