Senior Leadership Role in Luxury Retail Productions

The Opportunity:

Get Recruited is partnering with a high-end retail installations company to recruit an experienced Operations Director. This senior leadership role will oversee operations at the manufacturing site as the company continues to grow.

This is a brand new position with exciting long-term prospects, offering the chance to join a successful team and work on impressive projects across the UK.

If you are a seasoned Operations Manager, Production Director, or have held similar Senior Leadership roles in Manufacturing and Event Production, this opportunity should not be overlooked.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end production of high-end pop-ups, retail displays, and events.
  • Direct a large team of over 60 people, including managers, engineers, and production staff.
  • Oversee engineering and manufacturing of structural elements and fixtures.
  • Implement quality control processes to meet luxury market standards.
  • Maintain ISO compliance (9001, 14001, 45001 & FSC).

The Person:

  • Must have experience as an Operations Manager, Operations Director, Head of Operations, Production Director, or in a similar Senior Leadership role.
  • Strong background in Manufacturing, including joinery, print, and production.
  • Experience in Event Production, Event Installations, or Retail Events.
  • Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and subcontractors.
  • Background in engineering or structural production.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience in an Installations Director, Head of Installations, or similar Senior Leadership role.
  • Success in working with high-profile clients, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional service and quality.

Compensation Package:

We estimate a salary range of £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
