Market Risk Analyst - Physical Oil

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst with experience in physical oil to join our team in Gibraltar.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with traders to ensure accurate and timely data.
  2. Review stock movements across various delivery methods, including tank, barges, waterborne, and pipeline.
  3. Improve processes and systems to ensure correct hedging and transactions.
  4. Provide commercial analysis of performance and cost reporting.
  5. Monitor the performance of barges and terminals, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in oil trading or energy roles.
  2. Strong understanding of P&L and risk management.
  3. Experience in physical oil and business support.
  4. Excellent communication skills across international teams.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office, with accounting qualifications preferred (ACA, CIMA).
