Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Consultant Upper GI (Oesophago-Gastric) Surgeon to join our esteemed team. This full-time position involves clinical duties across multiple sites within the trust, with a primary base at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing our elective Upper GI cancer service, contributing equitably to out-of-hours coverage, and collaborating with colleagues within the Upper GI unit and wider surgical department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop the elective Upper GI cancer service
  • Contribute equitably to out-of-hours coverage
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Upper GI unit and wider surgical department

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A Post CCT Upper GI Fellowship
  • Expertise in Robotic surgery and advanced endoscopy
