About the Role

The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is a dynamic public corporation that plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of nuclear operations. As our Senior HR Leader, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for leading the HR Directorate and providing strategic guidance to support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR Directorate to deliver people services across ONR, including talent management, organizational development, and health, safety, and welfare.
  • Provide advice and guidance to senior ONR leaders on HR-related matters, including strategic planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support the organization's mission and goals, including diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in HR leadership, with a strong background in talent management, organizational development, and HR strategy.
  • Membership of a chartered professional body (such as CIPD) at level 5 or above.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze complex data to inform HR decisions.
