Business Development Coordinator

Role OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Business Development Coordinator to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and generating new business opportunities, contributing directly to our growth and success. You will work closely with the sales team, facilitating client meetings, maintaining relationships, and leveraging market insights to identify potential leads.
Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement: Initiate and cultivate relationships with potential clients through targeted calls and communications, both warm and cold.
- Sales Support: Book meetings and seminars for the external sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Market Research: Identify and evaluate new opportunities using various tools, including social media, industry networks, and professional events.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions within our CRM system.
- Reporting: Provide detailed monthly reports on business development activities to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work with Area Managers to ensure geographic and sector-specific targets are met.
Education: A-Level or equivalent, or an NVQ with a focus on sales (preferred).
Sales Experience: Proven experience in a sales or business development role, with a strong emphasis on relationship management.
Cold Calling: Essential experience in generating leads through cold calls.
CRM Proficiency: Knowledge of CRM systems and the ability to manage and report data accurately.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
Problem Solving: A practical, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
