About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects that will lead to the convergence of physical and digital worlds through technology, engineering, and manufacturing expertise.
Your Responsibilities
- Client Liaison: You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver projects that meet their expectations.
- Bid Management: You will be responsible for managing the bidding process, including preparing and submitting bids to clients.
- Project Planning: You will plan and organize projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Tracking and Reporting: You will track project progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Revenue Management: You will be responsible for managing project revenue, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Profitability: You will work to ensure that projects are profitable and contribute to the growth of the business.
- Productivity: You will identify opportunities to improve project productivity and implement changes to achieve better results.
- Forecasting and Project Finances: You will forecast project finances and manage project budgets to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
- Risk Management: You will identify and mitigate risks associated with projects to ensure their successful delivery.
- Quality Control: You will ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
- Continuous Process Improvement: You will identify opportunities to improve project processes and implement changes to achieve better results.
- Problem Resolution: You will resolve any issues that arise during project delivery.
- Resource Allocation: You will allocate resources to projects to ensure their successful delivery.
- Client Satisfaction: You will work to ensure that clients are satisfied with the delivery of projects.
About You
We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager who has a proven track record of delivering projects in the Defence sector. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience: You will have at least 5 years' experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects in the Defence sector.
- Leadership: You will have experience of leading complex, multi-functional teams.
- Security Clearance: You will be able to gain SC Clearance.
- Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
