Exciting Temporary Role for an Experienced Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your skills and contribute to a thriving finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily financial operations, including cash posting, payroll, and accounts to trial balance
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Manage VAT processes and assist with the preparation of VAT returns
  • Produce regular P&L reports and provide insightful analysis
  • Support the finance team with any ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role
  • Proficient in using SAGE and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Previous experience in producing financial reports and performing reconciliations
