Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies for IT and Marketing, ensuring long-term value and sustainability.
- Lead our sustainability initiatives, collaborating closely with the sustainability team to drive meaningful change.
- Optimize resource performance to deliver business objectives, leveraging your expertise in procurement and supply chain management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of collaboration and trust.
- Upskill and manage a small team of category managers and commercial analysts, ensuring they have the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
- Support the development and delivery of our SRM framework, driving strategic sourcing and supplier relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading category planning and management, with a strong background in IT, outsourcing, indirects, and sustainability.
- Experience working with senior leadership and reporting to Board level, with a track record of delivering substantial margin improvement.
- Excellent written, verbal, and numerical communication skills, with the ability to build and engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven ability to identify and deliver cost savings through successful supply chain management.
- Experience in building and managing a team, with a focus on upskilling and developing talent.
