Job Title: Global Payroll Operations Director

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year. As the Global Payroll Operations Director at Justworks, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate execution of payroll activities, tax payments, and reporting across countries. You will work closely with local teams and external partners to deliver exceptional service to clients while maintaining operational and system compliance in each jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including daily payroll adjustments, payroll tax processing, additional payments, accurate tax withholding, and remittance.
  • Work closely with outside payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll.
  • Ensure tax updates are validated and successfully uploaded to all applicable systems in a timely manner.
  • Document internal processes/controls and maintain relevant internal resources centers for policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and laws across multiple countries and regions.
  • Experience with project management and/or business process management activities (process mapping, improvement, implementation, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse group of payroll professionals.
