About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated Complex Care Support Worker to join our team at This is an IT support group. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on patients' lives. In this role, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to children and adults with complex physical health care needs, working collaboratively with qualified nurses, patients, and their families to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with complex physical health care needs, including management of tracheostomies, ventilators, enteral feeding, complex seizures, and medication administration.
  • Assess patient care needs on a daily basis, implementing and evaluating care plans produced by qualified nurses with patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with qualified nurses to assess care plans, risk assessments, and contingencies, ensuring consistency and reflecting up-to-date care needs.
  • Evaluate and improve the delivery and quality of care, ensuring it complies with local and Trust agreed policies and procedures.
  • Support patients in achieving their potential to live independently, as per care plan.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in a related subject / nursery nurse qualification or similar.
  • Ability to work days and nights, with shift times varying depending on client needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on patients' lives.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
