Job Title: Air Freight Coordinator- Export

Our client, a leading provider in the Freight Forwarding and Transportation industry, is seeking an experienced Air Freight Coordinator to join their air freight team in their London Heathrow Office based in Slough.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate air freight activities, ensuring seamless communication with network partners and UK clients to arrange bookings from origin to destination country.
  2. Develop a solid understanding of INCOTERMS and the associated risks and liabilities.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate completion of air import/export jobs.
  4. Verify that all goods under the company's deferment account are approved for delivery with accounts or line managers, or an agreement is placed on SOP or quotes.
  5. Promptly submit insurance claims to the claims department.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in the Freight Forwarding sector, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  2. Knowledge and experience of Import/Export multimodal business.
  3. Understanding of Air Freight sales and products.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially MS Excel, and general PC knowledge.
  6. Good understanding of logistics processes and procedures.
Company Benefits:

This is a full-time office-based role working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Salary range is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
