About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to join our team at WP Engine. As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, ensuring they derive maximum value from our solutions.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to increase revenue and expand our client base.
- Think creatively to retain and grow clients' business, identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored solutions.
- Build, maintain, and close pipeline to consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Support clients with proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and training sessions, ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption.
- Collaborate with our solution engineering team to ensure the best technical fit for clients' needs.
- Forecast accurately and manage business performance, providing timely and accurate deal updates to management and executives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual quota.
- Ability to articulate a compelling vision that resonates with clients and demonstrates value.
- Consultative sales approach to uncover customer needs and match appropriate solutions.
- Build long-lasting relationships based on trust with multiple client executives, positioning WP Engine as a strategic partner.
- Deep understanding of business practices, industry trends, and competitors.
- Self-motivated and thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrating passion and energy with clients and colleagues.
