About the Role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to recover loans efficiently and within designated timelines.
  • Raise potential issues with loans early and suggest recovery strategies to maximize loan recovery.
  • Manage settlement discussions, ensuring a thorough understanding of our policies and procedures.
  • Resolve queries promptly and refer any expressions of dissatisfaction/complaints to the Compliance Officer/Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GDPR rules.
  • Communicate effectively with Lenders/Borrowers as required.
  • Ensure strict adherence to our Collections policy and regulatory expectations throughout the recovery process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and raise any knowledge gaps or suggestions for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in loan recoveries or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of collections policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working within a regulatory environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the industry and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

This is an office-based role in Gravesend, Kent, with a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
