An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior leadership position within the Digital Services team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

The role of Head of Data & Analytics requires a strong analytical and statistical background, with experience in leading teams and delivering strategic initiatives.

This position will support the Associate Director of Data & Analytics in overseeing the Analytics and Data Platforms team, driving the delivery of the Digital Strategy and contributing to the Extended Leadership Team.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to developing a customer-focused Analytics and Data Service, aligning with the Trust's 5 key aspirations for data:

  1. Direct Patient Care and Clinical Workflow: Providing high-quality, integrated data to support clinical decision-making.
  2. Population Health and Insight: Understanding community health needs to guide decision-making and improve population health.
  3. Management and Executive Information: Delivering consistent and precise data for leadership to drive organisational effectiveness.
  4. Statutory Duties and Performance: Meeting regulatory requirements with accurate, timely data to benefit the organisation and the NHS.
  5. Research, Innovation, and Improvement: Leveraging data to drive research and innovation, leading to better healthcare solutions.

The role will also ensure alignment of the Trust's data strategy with operational delivery, promoting a 'Cloud First' approach to data warehousing and standardising analytics services.
