Loss Prevention Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Next, based in Leeds. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the provision of a safe and secure working and shopping environment by providing a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.
- Work closely with Store Teams to build strong relationships and identify high-risk areas, acting as a strong deterrent on the shop floor.
- Engage with store management to ensure Company LP standards are adhered to at all times, including Out of Hours surveillance, LP auditing, and additional support at other stores.
- Action any other duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager, including attending department meetings.
About You:
- Previous security experience within a retail environment is preferred.
- You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times, with travel required on a day-to-day basis to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable travelling distance from your home address.
- You will be totally committed to keeping our Store Teams and customers safe, well-organized, and able to work well in a fast and busy store.
- You will be hardworking, self-motivated, and always ready to use your initiative, with excellent communication skills to build great relationships with store teams, police, and customers.
- You will be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings, and comfortable with using IT systems/computers.
