About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality catering service to our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and coordination of duties for a team of Catering Assistants to ensure the delivery of an efficient catering service.
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers.
  • Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, service, and customer care.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food safety regulations.
  • Process sales and cash register operations accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience of working in a professional catering environment.
  • Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards this.
  • Good level of Maths and English
  • Supervisory experience is desirable
  • Barista training would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
