Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Biostatistician to join our team at Novartis. As a key member of our clinical development team, you will be responsible for providing expert statistical support and guidance on the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide statistical leadership and expertise on clinical trials, including study design, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement statistical methodologies and models.
  • Develop and maintain statistical standards and guidelines for clinical trials.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. CDISC).
  • Lead and contribute to the development of statistical analysis plans, protocols, and reports.
  • Provide statistical support for regulatory submissions, including planning, analysis, and reporting of clinical safety and efficacy summaries.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and methodologies in biostatistics and apply this knowledge to improve our clinical trials.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Statistics or equivalent, with 7+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD in Statistics or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong expertise in statistical software packages (e.g. SAS, R).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
