Overview of the Role:
EG Group is thrilled to announce a new opportunity for a seasoned Financial Systems Specialist to join our growing organization. This position will serve as a key business partner within the finance department, collaborating with various teams to improve system efficiency, deliver training, and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
The individual in this role will be accountable for managing and supervising the Oracle EPM consolidation and planning system, while also promoting the effective use of Blackline for account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of precise and timely consolidated financial data while maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the implementation of Oracle EPM for consolidation and planning.
- Develop and sustain effective Business Intelligence for financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
- Lead the ongoing implementation and management of Oracle EPM and Blackline for consolidation and account reconciliations.
- Provide support and guidance to finance team members on Oracle EPM and Blackline functionalities and best practices.
- Stay informed on the company's accounting policies and framework, ensuring compliance in consolidation processes and reconciliations.
- Continuously assess and enhance consolidation and planning processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
- Establish and ensure compliance with internal controls within the consolidation and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, treasury, and IT, to guarantee accurate and timely financial data consolidation.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely completion of audit deliverables.

Candidate Qualifications:
- Essential: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience in group accounting functions
- Strong Excel skills
- Expertise in Finance Systems
- Business Partnering experience
- Desirable: Experience in preparing financial consolidation and reconciliation processes
- Desirable: Experience in implementation
