Durnsford Lodge Residential Home is seeking a skilled Bank Senior and Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves working closely with the home management team to ensure the safe and effective running of the home, covering staff sickness and holidays.
About the Role:
This position requires a confident and caring individual to provide a leading role on shift, ensuring the effective allocation and direction of staff while assisting where needed. You will be responsible for monitoring all care records to ensure all residents' needs are met, reporting any safeguarding concerns or complaints to the manager, and documenting evidence of personal care, daily assistance, and emotional support provided to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and daily assistance to residents.
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
- Reporting safeguarding concerns and complaints to the manager.
- Assisting in the allocation and direction of staff during shifts.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing care.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities.
- Experience in senior care or care home settings.
