About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Mobilisation and Engagement Lead to join our team at Refuge. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our digital engagement and mobilisation strategy, working closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, and Policy to drive sustainable growth and value for Refuge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital engagement and mobilisation strategy to drive public mobilisation, supporter recruitment, income growth, and deepened engagement.
  • Lead a talented team of digital specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of digital campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital mobilisation and engagement into our overall fundraising and communications strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform and improve our digital engagement and mobilisation efforts.
  • Provide regular analysis and insights to inform programme performance and optimise digital mobilisation and engagement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in developing and delivering digital strategies to mobilise the public, recruit new supporters, grow income, and deepen engagement.
  • Deep knowledge of digital engagement, campaigning, and fundraising principles and best practices.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing digital teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different functions and levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform strategic decisions.
