Job Description

Job Title: Netball Development Officer

Job Summary:

Rugby School is seeking an experienced Netball Development Officer to lead the development of netball at the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the netball strategy, working with all age groups, and ensuring participation rates are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive netball strategy for Rugby School
  • Work with all age groups to ensure participation rates are maintained and netball profile is enhanced
  • Lead on the running of netball at Rugby School, including fixtures and tournaments
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sport to develop and implement netball programs
  • Provide coaching and guidance to netball teams and players
  • Develop and maintain relationships with netball clubs and organizations
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of netball programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 2 qualification in sports coaching
  • Experience of working with young athletes within a netball coaching environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings
