Job Title: Senior Strategy Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to join our team at Carbon60. The ideal candidate will have a background in strategy management consulting and a deep understanding of the renewable industry within European markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define what good looks like for our client in each of its priority markets
  • Outline different approaches to delivering these outcomes
  • Advise on how our client can scale up in these markets (where appropriate)
  • Provide input into organisational design to drive successful pipeline conversion and operational performance
  • Identify opportunities which can support our client's net zero targets whilst creating shareholder value and advise on the criteria for quantitative and qualitative assessment of such opportunities

Requirements:

  • Background in strategy management consulting, or similar role in international corporate
  • Deep understanding of the renewable industry within European markets, including an understanding of wind, solar and battery technologies
  • Experience of early-stage project development and navigating land, consents and routes to market is particularly beneficial
  • Experience of working in or supporting high value, complex capital projects including deep understanding of the commercial value drivers and financing options
  • Experience of change programmes and business expansion into new markets and geographies
  • Fluency in Spanish and other European languages is preferred but not necessary
