Role Overview
The Pokémon Company International seeks a skilled Pokémon Brand Partnership Specialist to ensure the accuracy and quality of licensed products. This 12-month Fixed-Term Contract position is perfect for an individual with a passion for the Pokémon brand.
About Us
The Pokémon Company International, a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company in Japan, manages the property outside of Asia and is responsible for brand management, licensing, marketing, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the animated TV series, home entertainment, and the official Pokémon website.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Review and Approval
- Review submissions from assigned partners to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and proper use of provided art assets.
- Schedule Management
- Identify potential schedule challenges and propose solutions to escalate to manager.
- Brand Guidance
- Help guide partners in interpreting the Pokémon brand for their products.
- Partnership Development
- Collaborate with internal business partners and licensees to determine best product and character roll-out.
- Communication
- Communicate daily with internal and external partners via phone, Zoom, or email.
- Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of item development from concept to approval.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Assemble and distribute monthly reports and/or lists regarding all product approvals.
- Process Development
- Assist in developing process documents, tools, and training materials.
- Project Support
- Create presentations and assist with projects as needed.
- Sample Organization
- Organize and record product samples.
- Asset Distribution
- Distribute new assets and information to licensees as needed.
- Business Meetings
- Arrange and attend both on-site and offsite business meetings with licensees; some travel may be required.
- Administrative Tasks
- Perform other managerial and administrative duties consistent with the position as assigned by manager.
Requirements
- Professional Experience
- Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Thorough understanding of or ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a team environment and initiative to work independently.
- Must be able to prioritize, handle multiple projects at once, and have excellent follow-up skills.
- Must be solution-oriented and results-driven.
- Eager learner who is not afraid to ask questions.
- Knowledge/understanding of product timelines and print processes on various mediums.
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop is a plus.
- Project Management experience is a plus.
- Additional languages are a plus.
Salary Range
New hires generally start between £45,000.00 - £53,200.00 per annum. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate's qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
