Job Title: Healthcare Assistant - Somerset

We are seeking a friendly and communicative Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will provide empathetic and professional support to our patients, families, and clinical leads.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical support for our HOS-AR contracts, working closely with our clinical leads and patients to deliver exceptional care. Your day will be varied, and you will need to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic and professional support to patients, families, and clinical leads
  • Maintain a patient focus and be the first point of contact for patients and prescribers of HOS-AR service in the event of difficulties or complaints
  • Support our HOS-AR service through delivery of training, ongoing service user clinical support, and maintenance of patient-focused care
  • Conduct and interpret results from basic monitoring tests, including blood pressure, pulse oximetry, temperature, blood gases, heart rate, and breathing rate

About You

You will have experience in respiratory care, training and educational skills, and the ability to analyze issues and problem-solve. You will be a team player, able to work on your own initiative, be innovative and resourceful, yet have a compassionate and caring attitude.
