Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Hampshire County Council is looking for a highly skilled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Inspecting and maintaining vehicles and plant equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues.
- Ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Participating in emergency and winter maintenance operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle repair or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits
This position comes with a competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
