G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Childcare Law Specialist to join its award-winning team in the Northwest. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in handling complex cases concerning children and have a minimum of two years of experience in this field.

The successful candidate will handle their own caseload of childcare-related cases, providing advice on all aspects and stages of the childcare proceedings, including wardship, parental responsibility orders, contact orders, and orders for interim care and supervision.

The team is specialists in areas including Female Genital Mutilation, International Relocation, Child Abduction, Forced Marriage, defence of serious allegations of injury, abuse or neglect, and fabricated or induced illness.

The role requires the ability to provide practical, skilled representation and, if needed, enlist the assistance of additional specialists in the case. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with and able to offer guidance on matters including PLOs, representation at PLO meetings with the authorities, Child protection, Section 20 accommodation in foster care, and Children's services involvement and assessments.

G2 Legal Limited is keen to discuss this role with solicitors who have experience within Childcare Law, not just those who have The Law Society's Children Law Panel accreditation and/or have a Children's Guardian following.
