Support Learning Disabled Adults

HF Trust is recruiting a Support Worker to join our team in Wadebridge, Cornwall. As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to learning disabled adults, enabling them to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with daily tasks, such as taking medication, cooking meals, and personal care
  • Encourage and enable individuals to develop skills, achieve goals, and maintain relationships with family and friends
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary, rising to £ per hour from 1st October 2024 (Plus in lieu of holiday entitlement)
  • Generous holidays: 33 days of annual leave (including eight days statutory bank holidays)
  • Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% for key dates over Christmas
  • Training & development: Earn money while you get a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence and access to a car (or ability to get help getting to and from the service)
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts to support your work and home life balance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
