Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resuscitation Practitioner to join our dynamic team as an Acting Lead Resuscitation Practitioner. This is a 9-month acting opportunity to cover maternity leave, providing a unique chance to make a significant impact on our Resuscitation service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish a strong working relationship with care organisations, effectively coordinating and managing the Resuscitation service.
  • Ensure a robust Resuscitation service is provided across the Northern Care Alliance, safely resourced, and providing appropriate support clinically, educationally, and managerially.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Resuscitation training programs for all levels of staff, from basic to advanced.
  • Provide expert knowledge and advice on evidence-based Resuscitation practices, contributing to national information, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop clinical protocols as a member of the multidisciplinary team, reducing risk and improving patient safety.
  • Support and lead the Resuscitation team, acting as the main resource for specialist advice and effectively communicating with the multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements
  • Current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK.
  • Experience of working in Resuscitation Training or Acute Care environments.
  • Extensive experience at Senior Level in an acute setting with experience of Resuscitation Practices.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders.
