Production MIG Welder Job Description

Carbon 60 is seeking a skilled Production MIG Welder to join their team in Wrexham. As a key member of the production line, you will be responsible for welding high-quality steel components to meet the needs of their manufacturing and engineering client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work from technical drawings to produce high-quality welds
  • MIG weld to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Perform JIG work, including spot welding and assembling frames
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and achieve production targets
  • Previous experience in MIG welding on mild steel is essential

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of working from engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Proficiency in hand, air, and power tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
