Financial Controller

A highly dynamic and broad role, ideal for a candidate who is keen to build and develop a Finance Team within a customer-focused business. The successful candidate will report into the Managing Director and be responsible for producing timely, accurate management accounts and financial reports.

Key responsibilities include:

* Ensuring the Finance department produces timely, accurate management accounts and financial reports
* Preparing Board / Senior Mgt Meeting slides to present month-end financials
* Preparing and providing trend analysis, including the preparation of the Company's monthly KPI Scorecard
* Owning and managing the budgeting and reforecasting process
* Preparing and maintaining both short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts
* Ensuring the Company meets its statutory, fiscal, and auditing requirements
* Working closely with the Senior Mgt team to plan the build and structure of the Finance Team

Ideal candidate:

* Prior experience working for a fast-paced SME
* Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
* Ability to communicate with all areas of the business
* Ambitious and driven
* Experience in managing and delivering change to structure and meet financial reporting
