About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team at Care First UK Recruitment Solutions. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to Children and Young People with complex needs in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete weekly key work sessions to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Organize and participate in activities that promote socialization, emotional growth, and skill development, such as camping, sports, and community events.
  • Assist with domestic duties, including laundry, cooking, and shopping.
  • Provide personal care and support, including administering medication and ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents.
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities, and support them in completing homework and other tasks.
  • Liaise with staff from other departments to ensure a consistent approach to person-centered care.
  • Report any issues or incidents that arise during the day.
Requirements
  • Experience working with Children and Young People with complex needs.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with residents and support their emotional and social growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration and personal care.
