As a Community Meals Driver with South Gloucestershire Council, you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals to members of the community who may not be able to cook for themselves. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to build relationships with customers and make a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for delivering meals to customers throughout South Gloucestershire, working independently and as part of a dedicated team.
  • You will have a regular round, allowing you to get to know your customers and understand their needs.
  • You will be required to travel throughout the authority and surrounding area, using South Gloucestershire vehicles.
  • You will need to have a full valid driving licence for this role.

What We're Looking For

  • You will have good communication skills and be confident interacting with people.
  • You will be comfortable working independently and making decisions when necessary.
  • You will be able to balance your schedule with the needs of your customers.
  • You will have a valid driving licence and be able to travel throughout the authority and surrounding area.
